You will run into new problems using a transport map for local lmtp
delivery.

A transport map is no such thing, so You won't have Your aliases expanded.
A solution to this would be to either have postfix being avare of the
feature in cyrus
or the old question: "Is there a way to have a global sieve script running
before the user's
individual sieve scripts are executed?". That means, a way to have alias
expansion done
on lmtp delivery by cyrus lmtpd or sieve would help.
I think both solutions are not too likely to come in near future....
