If you mean making a backup ... sure, use a filesystem (usually LVM of EVMS)
that supports snapshotting.

our mailserver, and I've recently noticed that the user-quota's are
more than often incorrent.
Running quota -f als user cyrus will fix this, but is this a known

Hi all !
Our users are pretty much used to use imp for webmail. Unfortunately after
migrating to cyrus some have been scared like hell, all their email was
lost! Or so it seemed :)

Hi all!
Is it possible to use an ACL to set a mailbox to 'pop only'. I would like to
be able to prevent people from creating (new) subfolders in their inbox.

PS: I have read all documentation on ACL's, but I have not been able to find
the right mixture of rights...

This sounds a bit drastic. It prevents the server from being used
as an IMAP server.
Well, the 'mailbox storage style' is still very usefull with large mailboxes

Hi !
I was wondering if it is possible for cyrus to 'trust' local-users on a
system.
So if I let a program like Pine connect to localhost it would accept a
login from the local-user without asking for his/her password.

Chris
