Apple OSX Server 10.4.7I occasionally get the following system.log message repeated every minute...Jul 27 08:52:20 servername sudo: root : TTY=unknown ; PWD=7 ; USER=cyrusimap ; COMMAND=/usr/bin/cyrus/bin/cyrus-quota -rThis repeats every minute for sometimes hours and eventually stops after this
Problem solved, DUH!Courtesy of Pterobyte (Alex) on the Apple Mailserver forum, quota report is generated by the OSX Server Admin tool, when it is open at the Maintenance tab - it refreshes every minute and generates a quota report each time. Aaarrghh ;-)-davidOn 28 Jul 2006, at 12:36, David Brown

Mike,
Before I take too long on this, I should ask: Which
old .mc file? Frankly, I'm not sure at this point. I
have about 50 files in my /cf directory (see below).
Should this be a short one I build myself, or one of
the prototypes, generic-linux.mc for example?
Thanks!
David

Subject: RE: New rpms of Cyrus IMAPd 2.2.3
We used to say that the only dumb question is the one
that's not asked. But that doesn't keep me from
feeling that way sometimes.
Could someone please help me with steps 9 and 10 of
Simon's install howto:
http://www.invoca.ch/pub/packages/cyrus-imapd/2.1/readme-from-rpm.txt
I think we're
Ok, this makes sense, thanks Mark. I've worked
through this when trying to install from source
(unsuccessful as well till now).
But I still can't get through the howto list.
Everything seemed ok until step 7. I started
saslauthd, but I don't have any file at
/etc/sysconfig/saslauthd and have
Simon,
Many thanks for the RPM!!! May I suggest putting the
RPM install command on your quick and dirty install
howto page ('rpmbuild --rebuild
cyrus-imapd-2.x.x-x.src.rpm'). I lost some time
(entirely my fault as a newbie) doing a standard rpm
install command while looking at your howto page,
I'm sure it's easy if you know how. I need to learn a
bit more about authentication for Cyrus. Meantime, I
have a problem when trying to execute the following:
su cyrus
tools/mkimap
I get error message:
can't open /etc/imapd.conf at (eval 1) line 15, DATA

Would appreciate someone
I'm fairly new to the Linux environment. Please let
me know if you have an idea how to resolve this Cyrus

It looks like configure
?). (Would this solve any problems?)
3) Change Makefile to add include (need to learn how).
4) Other ideas?
Thanks again,
