Moving some files to another mount point

2008-02-15 Thread Josh Endries
Hello, My mail store is almost out of space. I have another disk partition I can use, but I'm not sure how to make it available. I'm using 2.2 with virtdomains, so I don't think I can move things to another Cyrus partition (no way that I'm aware of). I can't seem to rename a mailbox... Is it p

POP lock problem

-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA1 Hello, I've been trying to resolve a POP lock problem I'm having for a week now. :( I've looked through the archives and online and haven't figured out how to fix it. A client's mailbox got locked and is now somehow stuck in that state. There's no TCP

Question about shared folders in a virtual domain setup

2004-09-24 Thread Josh Endries
Hello, I have a server with virtual domains and would like to create two shared mailboxes for training a bayes DB, spam and not-spam, that are available to all users. Is this possible? I can create [EMAIL PROTECTED] and that works, but other domains won't have access to this. Is there a way to

Outlook timeout problems still

2004-06-28 Thread Josh Endries
Hi all, I'm still getting people complaining about Outlook connection problems when leaving the client open for extended periods of time. I read it was Outlook's implementation of IDLE. I tried using idled, using no idle at all, and now defaults (poll?) with "imapidlepoll: 0" as suggested, and

Outlook client connection problems

Hello, I have read a lot of information about Outlook clients and IDLE and connections timing out. I have a number of Outlook users (I think Outlook 2003 actually) that use IMAP and they were having problems "connecting" to the server after letting Outlook sit alone for a while, which sounded l

Well recompiling (actuall, upgrading from 2.2.2 to 2.2.3) seems to have fixed the problem, I'm getting TLS offerings on all four services now, thanks for the help!

Problem with LMTP and TLS

Hiya list, I'm having problems getting TLS working on LMTP. I recently installed the cyrus-imapd22 port in FreeBSD, with OpenSSL, and it seems to be compiled correctly. imaps/pop3s work just fine, and ldd shows the SSL libraries compiled into lmtpd, but for some reason lmtpd doesn't offer STAR

Questions about authentication

Hello fellow list members, I'm currently designing (implementing, testing, etc.) a new mail system to replace our overworked single Sendmail server. I am testing a setup with two servers currently: one running Cyrus 2.1 (and MySQL, which will be moved in time), and one running Postfix with LMTP
