you're looking for.
I'm still on linux and was thinking a lot about trying out solaris 10, but
stories like yours will make me think again about that ...

sieve. So use any of the miriad webmails around.
If you insist on direct access to mails, check Courier and its webmail that
directly accesses the maildirs.

You say you're copying mail spool from one box to another via imap. Is the
source box able to provide mails at a fast enough rate?
