sasl_mech_list: PLAIN LOGIN
as already pointed by Igor Brezac, but I guess that most propably cyrus
user cannot access (doesn't have permission) for saslauthd socket ?
I don't where it have standard locations, but on debian it
is /var/run/saslauthd/mux, better check this fi

I think that you have mix of libraries and daemon not from same
compilation? Since paths are seem to be hardcoded inside binary.

I am looking for some people/companies which are using MURDER with vast
(more then 100.000) amount of mailboxes (apart from CMU) and can be used
as kind of *proof of concept*.
