Ok, we resolved this problem, it was very simple in the end as I suspected. The problem was in the /etc/hosts-file where the 127.0.0.1-line only pointed to localhost and localhost.localdomain. Adding a FQDN as well as the hostname helped. We can now create user mailboxes with the @domain.tld exten

Hello! I tried to identify my problem in the archives but the closest was that described by Mike Nuss in msgid 32056 (and http://acs- wiki.andrew.cmu.edu/twiki/bin/view/Cyrus/CreateMailboxPermissionDenied). Unfortunatelly the 'solution' is not implementable in my case. In short: FC3 with the late
