RE: Not seeing Inbox

If you set up an IMAP client, you should see all the folders in Exchange, just like you would with any other IMAP account - except, if you use shared folders, Outlook Express can't (or won't) poll them and won't display them by default. You have to go to Folders, click on the shared folder and

This may or may not be your problem, but when I had the exact same problem, I fixed it like this. (Everything else worked fine, but sieve showed no available mechs, and I couldn't login using sieveshell.) When I first built Cyrus, I symlinked to the /usr/lib/sasl2 directory like this: # ln -s

This question comes up constantly. You need to assign the cyrus admin the c ACL to the folder. The man page is confusing, because it says you need the d ACL, and then later lists c as the correct ACL. c is the correct ACL for folder deletion. Paul Schmehl ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) TCS Department

Why not disable his account? That will get his attention, and then you can educate him and have him reset the check-mail interval in their client. We do this regularly. You'd be amazed how fast someone that you can never get ahold off will show up in your office when their account doesn't work

As an Outlook user who has a Cyrus back end as well as an Exchange backend, I can assure you that Outlook does not expunge mail automatically *unless* it's configured to do so. By default, Outlook moves all deleted mail to the Deleted Items folder, where it sits until it is expunged either

Don't use that entry in master.cf for Cyrus. Use lmtp instead. If you read the notes, that entry is deprecated and unreliable. /etc/postfix/main.cf mailbox_transport = lmtp:unix:/var/imap/socket/lmtp /etc/postfix/master.cf lmtpunix- - n - - lmtp
