Howdy All

I've recently upgraded from Cyrus-Imap 2.0.9 to 2.0.12. I also upgraded to
to Berkely DB 3.2.9 from 2.3.7 and Glibc 2.2.2 from 2.2.1. Needless to say,
I had to recompile Cyrus-Sasl (using 1.5.24) and Cyrus-IMSP (using 1.6a3).
Unfortunately, due to space constraints on that drive and, having
disengaged the brain at that point, I blew away my old sources without
noting what version I was at for sasl and imsp.

Anyway, the problem I'm having right now is that my access to imap/imsp has
degraded appreciably since the upgrades. Now, logging in to my various
mailboxes on my server takes upwards of a minute sometimes where it used to
only take about 30 seconds from start to finish. I've notice pauses of up
to 15 to 20 seconds in access times, and I believe the issue lies with the
imsp server, although I can't tell for sure from everything I've tried so
far. My access speeds to the imap boxes, when imsp is out of the equation
are acceptably fast, at least equaling what I was experiencing before the
upgrade.

I attempted to downgrade imsp to 1.6a2, but got 'Bad file descriptor'
errors when I did so.

Has anyone experienced similar issues or possibly have some ideas on how I
migth trouble shoot this issue? I'm at a loss, and can live with the access
speeds from my Mulberry client, but accessing it through my silkymail
install is now very painful, and I have a couple of users who can only
access their mail this way. Any suggestions at all would be welcome.

Thanks in advance,
Will
