We are running cyrus-imapd-2.2.12-3.RHEL4.1. We found that if we set
quota over 4194000, cyrus quota warning kicks in no matter how much your
usage is. Is there a hard coded quota limit in the imapd daemon?

Cyrus-Imap 2.3.x has 64-Bit Quota

óan I configure cyrus to strictly obey those quotas I set to mailboxes.
I dont like this situation, when I set a quota limit to user, say, 300Kb,
but he can easily accept much bigger mails.
For example , I send 800k file - accepts and puts in user's mailbox.
