I'm trying to setup my local mail system with cyrus-imapd-2.0.16 and postfix-1.1.11-stable, but have been having some issues with the lmtp connection using deliver.
My /etc/cyrus.conf lmtp cmd="lmtpd" listen="127.0.0.1:lmtp" prefork=0 My /etc/postfix/main.conf mailbox_transport = cyrus My /etc/postfix/master.cf cyrus unix - n n - - pipe user=cyrus argv=/usr/local/cyrus/bin/deliver -e -r ${sender} -m ${extension} ${user} Originally, when I tried to use this method of communication I received several permission errors. After getting past those errors I started running into the "deliver: Connection refused" error. I tried to go straight to the source and see what was happening when I executed the deliver binary from the command line, but received the same error. The only way I can get this to work is with lmtpunix, but I would prefer straight lmtp. Any thoughts? Respectfully, Gary __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
