Did you the Mail::IMAPClient perl module? The append problem you had was probably caused by a bug in the current version of Mail::IMAPClient. Attached is a patch against version 2.1.3 that fixes the problem - the maintainer of the module said he would include it in version 2.1.5. The bug will
