I'm not sure if this is possible, but you can override the realm that
Cyrus uses by setting the
'servername' attribute in imapd.conf. Note, this also changes the
servername reported in the
greeting banner.
If you do migrate the users to a new realm, you may want to use
something more generic
I've just changed the servername for cyrus imap,
I note doing this changes the realm cyrus checks in sasldb..
Is there a way to change the realm a user in the sasldb belongs to (without
reseting the users password) ??
