What to do to make emacs/gnus use *font* with better utf-8 coverage?
Specifically:
When I have replied to post in koi8-r char-set using utf-8 char-set
russian specific chars has been displayed as squares.
[ it was a post with only a few words in russian ]

I have
(set-default-font
-misc-fixed-medium-r-normal-*-13-*-75-75-c-80-iso10646-1)
in my .emacs.
I think it is a standard font included in a x.org package.

install ttf-dejavu and try something like:
(set-default-font
-*-dejavu sans mono-medium-r-*-*-*-115-*-*-*-*-*-*)
