How can I purge a message from an imap server using gnus?
If I use nnimap splitting does it create the server side folders? Is
there a way to directly create a folder on the server?

I would like to read mail on my server with gnus.
I have installed dovecot on my computer and I use procmail to sort my
mail in ~/Mail and other subfolders.
I don't managed to find the good option of .gnus file to read my
mails.

on top of an existing maildir directory in order to employ the nnimap
backend in gnus rather than the maildir one? I read that it should speed

Is anyone aware of improved imap support in GNUS? The current version
is slow and gets all the attachments. Over a slow connection it's a bit
of a pain to use.

Hi,
I am using nnimap and nnagent. I stupidly managed to expire a whole
load of mail from my local machine. The mails are still on the imap
server. How can I force gnus to reget these mails so I can access them
from the agent in disconnected mode?

There have been numerous posts to this list regarding incompatibilities
between Gnus/IMAP when connecting to Exchange 2007. Two of the larger
issues were:
1) Unable to retrieve large emails; the emails were simply left in the
INBOX. This issue affected other IMAP clients, too, such as
