AutoWEB Software Update and Design Curriculum Workshop
4 days, 30 hours of staff development credit included, Drake graduate credit available by paying Drake fees and turning in extra work.

Learn what new features are included in the software furnished through the AutoWEB lease program and what hardware options work best.
Become familiar with industrial design practices and develop strategies for integrating these features into your industrial technology classes.
No matter where you are in the integration of CAD in your design or drafting program, or which software you use, you should leave this class with an idea of how to use the features of your software to teach a design process. Whether you are using 2-D AutoCAD or more advanced 3-D programs, you should be able to adjust the design fundamentals of this class to your own teaching situation. Strategies for management of student projects and progress will be discussed. Participants in this class will be expected to create project plans and lessons for their own use with students.
Registration for this class can be done online. You will need to pay by credit card as part of the process. If you want to use a purchase order from your district, you must register by mail. You can find a printable registration form and instructions on the website. Drake Credit arrangements will be made on the first day of the class.
We will need a minimum of eight participants to hold this activity. We must have at least that number signed up by April 30, 2003.
