Our school district is installing new computers for the staff. I would like to know
how other schools handle this. We have discussed policies and if we should allow
teachers to install software. Give me some input as to what your school district
does.

Title: OEM Compaq parts incentive for June
Good afternoon-
Don't know if anyone out there
is looking for Compaq desktop parts, but if you are, this sounds like a pretty
good deal. We have been buying maintenance kits for HP LaserJets from
these guys, and everything has been excellent.
We also do not allow students to use email. In the past it has become more of a
hassle trying to make sure and police the machines. If a student needs to use email
for a college class or for some other useful reason, I set one up for them and tell
