I always find the "why their son couldn't connect to the network that they as
taxpayers helped pay for." arguement interesting. In that case, "I want to
drive a cop car around town, or maybe I could fly a stealth fighter, or drive a
tank. Or more pertinent to today, I want to use the school's snow blower to get
my car out of my garage, and then drive the town's snowplow to make a path all
the way to school.

Don't get me wrong though, I am all for the kids bringing their own laptops and
I am actually pretty close to making it happen.

The article referenced provides insight into the issue of having students
bring their own laptops. I found it to be very informative.
