Rename the old default profile old_default (or something like that) then
rename a copy of the profile you want to use 'default".

What method are you using to create a default user profile for Windows 7?
The old method of copying the user profile folder contents to the default
user folder does not work with Win 7. MS recommends a long and complicated
method. I am getting too old for this and my summer is coming to an end
