I have been going to this expo for several
years. If you want to know the latest technologies coming to computer
networks this is where you will find the information. In the past we have
been able to secure Airfare and hotel for the event at about $350/person double
occupancy. The cost to view the exhibits is FREE.
The expected Itinerary would be
Monday, May 10th Leave from Omaha NE, Arrive at Las
Vegas about 6pm Vegas Time.
May 11-13 Visit vendors and attend
classes
Friday, May 14th Return to Omaha
In the past it took a full three days to see all
the vendors. The number of vendors has been shrinking the last few years,
I don't know if that trend will continue. Every trip we have brought back
information that has saved the districts much more than the cost of the
trip.
I am planning on volunteering to work on the
Interop network, If I am accepted I will be able to take one workshop or
tutorial for free as well as gain experience from network experts throughout the
country.
Please let me know if you would like to attend and
I will research the current prices.
If you have any questions please let me
know.
