Who out there has laptop carts, or mobile labs. We are looking at getting one
of them. Our high school principal is wanting one but we have a lot of
problems with our wireless network working so I want to stay away from them. I
would rather have a couple new labs of terminal services like
We've deployed four mobile labs in the past year a half, 2 at the MS and 2 at
the HS. Our wireless
isn't perfect, but we put wireless access points on the labs that might go to
dead spots, and
that's worked out pretty well. Three of my labs are HP labs with HP carts. One

Questions for you to consider are: Who will really be using the
mobile lab in the high school? What laptops will you put in the
mobile lab? How will the mobile lab be scheduled?
As I shared in my previous response, we have two mobile labs in the
elementary with ibooks. These

We run two carts of 16 in the Middle School. We have two labs in the
middle school, one is used pretty much all the time by the technology
classes. The other was scheduled 95% of the day. There was a need
and an opportunity with STAR schools to get the two mobile labs. IT
