She will speak about a game site on global social change, www.urgentevoke.com<http://www.urgentevoke.com/> which uses gaming technique to provide problem solving skills via web 2.0-3.0, don't really know the full extent of the gaming tools. (Don't know if a Red Dragon will emerge) A quick read made me think about how to apply some of the suggestions locally to the school technology, these ideas haven't jelled yet.. It uses Graphic Novels to set the mission for the students (staff) to wander on the mission. If gaming is not an interest, it's worth listening to the Ted video to see what some of our students are doing. (And a 1:1 won't increase this?) Game expires May 12th.
