Part of our problem here is that we have no dsl or dedicated connection that is
affordable. Iowa Telecom wanted like $475 per month just to get to Jefferson (our
nearest dedicated connections) and $680 per month for a T1. Even with erate that
wasn't affordable to our library. They bought some
I offered the local library Internet access, but told them they had to
live with the same rules as the high school students - no email (that's
blocked), no games (blocked), etc. Of course they declined, and
contacted mediacom, who gives them their access for free. I was pleased
not to have to mess
