I'm the main developer of qutebrowser, a keyboard-focused vim-like web browser built using Qt and Python: http://www.qutebrowser.org/ qutebrowser is currently using QtWebKit - this comes with various stability, performance and security issues. This is why I want to add QtWebEngine support to the project. Since this is a lot more work than I originally hoped when I started 2.5 years ago, I decided to launch a crowdfunding campaign with the goal to work on this full-time for a few weeks.
