*Interview mode: Phone** than WebEx* *Job Description: * 4 - 7 years of experience developing and supporting moderate to complex applications in a J2EE environment. 5+ years’ experience working with Native Java, JSP, JDBC, multiple browser development, Web Services, technologies. 3+ years’ experience working with UML Diagrams 7+ Years IT experience. Working knowledge of workflow concepts. Practical experience and knowledge in the following technologies and tools: o Rapid Application Development (RAD) o Persistence Mechanisms – JPA (Hibernate) o Domain Modeling - Entities and Value objects o Service-oriented architecture (SOA) principles o Deploy and manage application on WebSphere Server o J2EE patterns, GoF patterns and Refactoring principles o Latest open source frameworks such as Spring/Hibernate/Grails etc. o Java Reporting o Oracle 10g/11g o MS SQL Server 2008 - SSIS and DTS, etc. o Operating System Environments (Windows, Unix, etc.). Ability to write clear and concise technical documents. Ability to develop code in accordance to software governance for platform integration. Ability to be relied upon to complete a task or project with minimal supervision. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Proven customer service skills. Preferred Qualifications/Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field (or equivalent work experience). Exposure to Agile development. Java Programmer’s Certification Responsibilities: This position is a contractor opening and will be responsible for developing, testing, implementing, debugging, and supporting computer software that resides and is executed in a J2EE environment. The developer must consider the following competencies when performing their work: customer focus, drive for success, teamwork, effective communication, and innovation. Essential Job Responsibilities Participates as a high technical expert in design, development, coding, testing and debugging new software or enhancements to existing software. Works with other technical staff to understand problems with software and develops specifications to resolve them. Work with Architect and Development staff to follow technical standards and constraints, leveraging existing processes, and evaluating existing application/code.
