KEY:
Candidates should have at least 5yrs of recent C# development experience.
This Developer will be designing and developing applications with Windows
10. Therefore Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 with 'traditional win32' or
'modern UI' (formerly known as Metro) experience is needed.
SUMMARY:
The Workspace Automation Team has the responsibility to provide the
detailed control and automation services across our end user device
ecosystem to ensure the highly efficient and cost effective use of our
desktop, mobile and application resources. The team makes direct
contribution to our IT efficiency initiatives with direct and measurable
contribution to the success of the firm. Within this team we have an
opening for a developer or integration engineer (C# .NET and PowerShell)
experienced with application development on Windows 10 systems. The
successful candidate will bring a commercial mind set to the role,
demonstrate a strong sense of personal accountability, show a track record
of delivering efficiency in a global & multicultural environment as well as
the developer and analytical skills to grow this area in support of the
Bank's IT strategy.
DUTIES:
The role is responsible for designing and coding tools needed on the
Windows 10 systems to improve the end user experience by providing the end
user with user-friendly self service applications for different use cases.
• Design and develop applications running on Win10 with "modern UI" (Metro)
look and feel
• Support other teams with providing applications or Powershell scripts to
automated end user driven workflows
• The position requires constant communication with globally distributed
colleagues and stakeholders
REQUIRED:
• 5+years' experience C# .net and/or PowerShell development and MS visual
studio 2013 skills
• Experience in application development for applications running on Windows
8.1 and Windows 10 ("traditional win32" and "modern UI" (Metro) look and
feel)
• Experience with the following development patterns beneficial MVC, MVVM,
XAML and WFC
• Undergraduate degree in computer science. information technology or
related discipline
• Strong communication skills, oral and written The individual brings a
commercial mindset to the role and demonstrates a strong sense of personal
accountability in providing end-to-end delivery. The person has a track
record in bringing efficiency in day-to-day operations. The individual has
excellent ability to work collaboratively across cultures in a global
environment.
