All required skills must be in job description. *Technical Project Manager Location: Jersey City Duration: 9 mos + Hourly Rate: DOE* *Position:-** * *More project management focus and focus on dealing with multiple priorities, having dealt with multiple groups, manage escalations, reporting etc.* Project Manager coming from the Java/J2EE development background *-8-10 yrs of IT Experience developing, designing, architecting and managing IT applications in big corporations. * -2+ yrs of Project Manager experience managing developers, business analysts, multiple projects -Project manager experience in co coordinating with various teams including business, requirements, testing, other partner providers and shared services resource -Project management experience dealing and managing production issues, lower environment issues, dealing with business partners, managing escalations, status reporting, proactive attitude towards issue resolution, managing multiple priorities -Previous experience of dealing with implementation and production support teams is a plus. *-7yrs of development experience in Java/J2EE environment* -Through knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) including good understanding of requirements analysis and testing methodologies *-Experience managing Offshore resources * -Have the ability to be successful in an environment with fast changing priorities -Work independently and be detail oriented -Excellent communicator to a variety of project stakeholders (product, technology, operations, implementation, etc.) *Technical Skills - Required* *-Java/J2EE **Sr. development skills. *-Implemented major *J2EE design patterns*. -Implemented project using *JMS technologies* -Implemented projects *using XML* creation and parsing and *webservices *-Working knowledge or *know how of* *TIBCO* or any other messaging infrastructure -Experience working with *application servers* like *IBM Websphere, BEA Weblogic* -Experience working with source code repositories like *CVS, Clearcase* -Worked on designing and implementing transactional systems capable of handling millions of transaction. -Expert with *SQL and Oracle/DB2 databases*.
