*Position Name: Desktop Engineer (Citrix)* * Location: Downers Grove, IL* *Duration : 6+ months* *Face to Face interview Required* Required Skills: Desktop Engineering position to perform as 3rd Level subject matter expert with expertise supporting large-scale XenDesktop 5.x environments. This includes expertise in working with Citrix Provisioning Server, Citrix Edgesight. Also has experience managing and troubleshooting large-scale Windows desktop environments. Experience deploying and supporting large-scale Xendesktop 5.x environments Experience working with Citrix Provisioning Server Experience working with Citrix EdgeSight Development of automated Windows installation scripts • Extensive engineering experience with Windows, Windows registry, Windows policies • Extensive experience with Active Directory, additional experience with Novell a definite plus • Development of virtual desktop images (experience with Citrix XenDesktop and XenApp preferred) • Experience in engineering mass rollouts or a new desktop Windows operating system across hundreds or thousands of desktops • Being able to provide 3rd level support on troubleshooting systemic desktop issues/outages *Candidate should possess good speaking skills, project coordination skills, and have strong customer service skills.
