*Position:: IBM Websphere Portal and Application Server Administrator* *Location:: Buffalo Groove, IL* *Duration:: 6+ Months* *Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills :-* IBM Websphere Portal Server V8 or above with expertise on Cluster and Deployment Manager • Monitor, Optimize and tune J2EE based solutions in both single node and clustered environments • Installation and support of Websphere Portal Server (WPS) and Websphere Application Server (WAS) • Support of IBM Websphere Content Management (WCM) components of WPS • IBM WCM syndication and library support • Portal support tools such as XMLaccess, Release Builder • Portal application deployment strategies. Migrating from dev, sit, uat, pre-production and production. • Managing portal security. Configuring access control and attribute based administration on portal resources. Knowledge of Trust Association Interceptors, LTPA Cookies, SSO Strategies • Portal customization and personalization features • Portal caching strategies • Page and portlet administration Portal navigation options • Troubleshooting and problem determination skills. Portal logging analysis. • Setup and management of virtual portals • Management of composite applications and portlet wiring • Implementation of portal branding and themes • Managing portal search capabilities • Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients on Websphere/J2EE administration approaches, process re-engineering and design. • Troubleshoot issues and work with vendors to find solutions. • Work with IBM support through PMR process. • Knowledge working in AIX/Linux/Solaris and MS Windows environments • Strong knowledge of IHS and IIS • Knowledge in MQ administration and configuration • Troubleshooting MQ related issues • Knowledge of DB2 and Oracle DB configurations within Websphere products • Knowledge of PING a plus • Familiarization with Datapower *Thanks and regards,* *Jyoti Budhwar* United Software Group Inc. 565 Metro Place S.
