*Interview mode: Phone hireJob Description: *Proficient with Microsoft Visio, 3-5+ years of total experience administering SharePoint including experience with administering SP2013, BizTalk, TFS, Project Server. 3-5+ years .NET and SharePoint2013 development or application architecture experience. 10+ years' experience in IT NCDOT Enterprise Architecture Office is seeking a Microsoft Platform Technologies Contract Architect with experience in SharePoint 2013, BizTalk, TFS, to support the DOT CM program and related projects. In support of program/project solutions delivered using Microsoft Technology Platforms, this position will: Work closely with key business and IT Personnel, to architect and review (design, development, integration and deployment) solution options in accordance with State and NCDOT Enterprise architecture and security standards. Review the high level solution architecture options with business clients and other technical experts. Analyze and estimate feasibility and compatibility with existing EA including hardware, network and other programs. Make recommendations about current and new technologies, guiding decision makers toward the final solution architecture. Produce relevant solution design artifacts including but not limited to: requirements, use cases, test cases, sequence diagrams, data models and conceptual logical and physical system designs. Work with enterprise architects as needed to evolve strategies, policies, processes and procedures, sourcing guidance, standards, blueprints, reference architectures, architecture patterns, design patterns and technology roadmaps for the Microsoft based platforms including those related to: Computer Hardware, Communications infrastructure, Network communications protocols, System Topologies, Solution design and provide knowledge transfer to other team members. *Required:* - Possess knowledge of the latest technology and industry trends in Microsoft Based Platforms. - Possess extensive knowledge of software/systems development lifecycle methodologies. - Possess knowledge of enterprise architecture, architecture patterns and related domains. - Experience designing and implementing Microsoft SharePoint 2013, BizTalk, TFS and Project Server to include sizing, scaling and all other aspects of both platform and solution architecture design. - Experience with claims based authorizations in SharePoint 2013 and integration with third party identity management solutions. - Experience implementing SharePoint 2013 metadata driven site structures and searches integrating content from multiple external content resources. - Experience implementing BizTalk as the ESB within a Service Oriented Architecture and integrating Biz Talk with a third party Business Rules Engine. - Knowledge of Dynamic CRM topologies, architectures and solutions design patterns. - Ability to communicate clearly and effectively and maintain a positive and productive relationship while working with cross-function teams.
