They are looking for knowledgeable people, who have worked with Hadoop in an enterprise environment that can bring their expertise to this project. They will be workign with about a 100 node Hadoop cluster. This is a long term contract position. *Skills:* · Contract is to start immediately through the end of the year and will be extended long into 2014 · They are building around a 100 node Hadoop Cluster and they're starting from scratch. This is an Enterprise level cluster and they need people with experience standing Hadoop up. · They must have a lot of big data experience. · They will interview candidates over phone or over Skype for non-local · Administrators need: installation, monitoring, managing, trouble shooting, applying patches, and acting as all tiers of support · Project is building large Hadoop clusters - minimal team in place already · Need someone with that big data experience with multiple years of it · People that aren't a fit are people that only have superficial experience. Training but no work experience. Small cluster experience. Only done one aspect of Hadoop for an Enterprise organization - these people will not work.
