Skills Required and Job Description:

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent is preferred. 3+ years of experience in a 24/7 network and computer operations. Strong troubleshooting experience with web server technology including ASP, ASP.Net and J2EE. Strong understanding of Windows Server 2003/2008, Active Directory, DNS and International Policy. Strong security awareness is a must. Technical and working knowledge of current data center technologies, protocols, and standards, including: TCP/IP, WAN, LAN, V-LANs, SAN, NAS, NFS and CIFs. Ability to juggle multiple tasks/projects and see them through to completion. Hands-on experience with enterprise-level hardware and software technologies. Responsibilities: Support multiple aspects our hosting environments while working towards being a lead expert in one or more areas. Prioritize and work tickets and respond to alerts that relate to server/network/storage issues. Analyze, troubleshoot and solve problems in a timely and accurate manner. Document issues, resolutions and keep up with current documentation and logs. Be a team player and eager to learn. Provide after-hours on-call support on a rotating basis to ensure 24x7 availability of hosted applications. Additional responsibilities commensurate with their abilities, knowledge, and aspirations.
