We have a *1 year plus contract role* in *Jefferson City, MO*.  This is a
very fast paced project.  Candidates must have excellent communication and
must be technical.

*Here is the technical overview of what they are looking for:*

   - Knowledge of Rules Engine and Business Process Execution Language
   (BPEL)
   - Healthcare industry background
   - Five (4) or more years of demonstrated experience in Java development
   - Three (3) years of experience working with Eclipse IDE, SOAP client
   tools, and setting of Maven build and deployment. Strong experience in
   deploying web services in JBoss and WebSphere environment
   - Prior experience in Level 2 or Level 3 production support
   - Expert Java/J2EE stack development and the following technologies: Web
   Services, XML, SOAP
   - Thorough knowledge of Java SE libraries, use of collections and
   high-level concurrency
   - Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Design (OOD) and Object Oriented
   Programming (OOP), design patterns and multi-threading
   - Experience with Hibernate and JDBC for connection services to
   Relational Database environments (i.e. DB2)
   - Working knowledge and experience troubleshooting Java applications
   deployed in multi-tiered architecture required
   - Experience in Windows and AIX operating systems and WebSphere
   application servers
   - Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to
   clearly articulate to all project members and stakeholders
   - Must be a team player that works well with technical and non-technical
   resources

The Java Support Engineer works in a Solution Support Group and provides
analysis, triage and corrective action of reported issues associated with
our healthcare application solution and software products, and supports and
maintains the solution in production. This role involves interface support
efforts between various systems using web services deployed in Enterprise
Service Bus layer, providing analysis and implementation support for
customized systems.

*The Java Support Engineer will:*

   - Collaborate with other development and integration team members to
   ensure Java technologies are properly supported
   - Develop business logic using Java/J2EE technologies and publish them
   as Web Services
   - Support and maintain web-based SOA applications software
   - Be familiar with integrating the web services in an Enterprise Service
   Bus (ESB) layer
   - Perform problem identification and resolution activities, involving
   multiple teams necessary to resolve the system problems based on
   severity/priority
   - Determine the root cause with the objective of preventing recurrence
   of the failed system and ensure that the cause is not present in other
   processes/systems
   - Update and maintain software and support documentation as needed
   - Must be a team player with the ability to interact with customer,
   business and Support associates to complete numerous ad-hoc tasks.
   - Demonstrate commitment to providing customer-focused quality service
   - Support assigned systems with on-call availability and respond within
   agreed upon timeframes
   - Perform other duties as deemed relevant based upon experience to
   fulfill customer needs
