*214-541-9047 Position:* *SQL Server DBA Location: Huston, TX Duration: 6+ months* *Required* Candidate should have excellent communication and documentation skills and should be able to independently perform L2/L3 activities without any supervision or guidance and also able to lead the team of junior SQL DBAs. The candidate should have expertise in carrying out the following tasks: •Extensive experience in installation and configuration of MS SQL Server 2000, 2005 and 2008,2012 and 2014 versions *•Experience in performing SQL server up-gradation activities.* *•Experience in applying latest released SQL Server Patches (2000,2005,2008,2012,2014)* *•Extensive Experience in SQL Server Migrations of various versions(2000,2005,2008,2012,2014)* •Monitoring the SQL server related services and using the SQL Configuration manager. •Database Connectivity between the servers (Application servers, webservers, and database servers). •SQL server Security management (creation of users, configuring permissions and assigning roles to users.) •Creating tables, views, indexes, stored procedures, triggers, cursors. •Experience in configuring and monitoring the High availability solutions in SQL: *a. SQL server Clustering* *b. SQL server Mirroring* *c. SQL server Log Shipping* *d.
