Additional Information 1. What is the present Technology Stack in use ? We are utilizing MySQL for the RDBMS and Pentaho for ETL and reporting. 2. What are the present BI & Analytic Tools in use ? Pentaho provides reporting. Analytics are done outside of this environment, typically using different managed service providers. We are preparing some new platforms over the next 6-12 months, with Microstrategy and R expected in the environment. SAS has been used at times in the business as well. Much work is done in Excel. 3. Can you specify on the Strong Vendor Management Skills to work with third party data providers and Tech partners - *Do we need a senior profile *like PM ? I expect analysts to have experience from a PM perspective, but these aren't large scale projects. This role is an analyst that sits between a service provider (Internal or external) and a business analyst. They need to be sure that projects move ahead and own that from an IT perspective, but most often I expect my service provider to provide the overall PM capability. If it's soyou mething purely internal, this role could have some PM needs, but it will vary and should be a minimal number of stakeholders. My current resource that is successful in this role has limited PM capabilities but does have a bias for action. 4. What is his Role ? will he be more on a management Role or do we need someone who is hands on BI and sr to manage vendors. The role is an analyst that works with the business to understand and document functional requirements and then works with an internal or external service provider to help translate that into technical requirements (but does not typically write the technical requirements). There could be some hands-on analysis to help drive out the requirements. 5. Can someone apply outside CA ? (work Mon to Thur and on Friday work from home) I would open that day, since it is a contract position.
