Please go through the below mentioned requirement and revert me ASAP. *Position: Senior Front End Web Developer* *Location: NYC, NY * *Duration: 4 month * *F2F interview* *Visa Copy is Mandatory* Our NY City client has an immediate opportunity for a Senior Front End Web Developer! The ideal candidate will provide Front-End solutions built upon the Drupal 7/8 framework. Work in collaboration with other senior and lead developers and UX specialists to perform site build-outs and optimizations. Must have expert-level skills in HTML and CSS; write eloquent, structured JavaScript and be comfortable with standard libraries like jQuery; and also be comfortable working with server-side technology (like PHP) when the need arises; and, has familiarity working with APIs to produce powerful and engaging interfaces. *Responsibilites:* · Understanding of basic usability principles and guidelines - responsive web design, mobile-friendly development. ·Experience with Javascript, HTML5, CSS3, JSON, and XML and libraries such as JQuery, Bootstrap, Foundation Experience with client side JS MVC frameworks (e.g. AngularJS, Ember, Backbone) Experience with the Drupal 7 / 8 CMS and working with popular modules and Drupal API knowledge; strong Drupal theme building experience. Basic knowledge of Unix-style command line; Familiarity with GIT / SVN source control. Strong understanding of debugging for the browser, designing for cross-browser and device support. Contributes to and assists in development test plans and provides technical support in all phases of testing and QA leading to implementation. Support and perform all phases of testing leading to implementation and assist in troubleshooting technical issues. Work with both technical and non-technical colleagues and clients. Weekend and off-hour work may be necessary on occasion. *Required Experience:* Minimum 4-6 years’ related experience. High-level proficiency in PHP, CSS and Javascript. 2+ years' experience building web applications with a PHP - based CMS. Proficiency in Drupal 7. Proficiency in web-related *nix administration. •Demonstrated excellence in a variety of competencies including teamwork/collaboration, analytical thinking, communication and influencing skills, and technical expertise. *Preferred Experience:* · Experience in building accessible websites (508, WCAG) · Experience working with decoupled/headless implementations · Experience with Node.js and design/development of RESTful APIs · Proficiency in rapid UI development using Jquery or similar Javascript library. · Keen understanding of web standards, usability and accessibility. · Experience as technical lead on a team. · Rails experience is a plus. · XSLT experience is a plus.
