*Requirements:*
*• Knowledge of middleware/infrastructure best practices and
security methodologies*
*• 4 years of experience in installation, configuration, and
administration of middleware platforms (IBM DataPower, WebLogic, IBM
WebSphere) *
*• Datapower experience*
* Knowledge of middleware/infrastructure best practices and
security methodologies*
Good UNIX shell scripting skills
• Ability to create support documentation & written procedures
for routine and non-routine tasks.
• Proficient in administration of IBM IHS.
• Ability to evaluate, install, test, configure, maintain, and
monitor performance of and troubleshoot WebSphere applications.
• A good understanding of concepts related to web server load
balancing and other application scaling concepts.
• Strong UNIX systems administration experience (Linux, and
AIX).
• Solid analytical and troubleshooting skills (UNIX,
Networking, DMZ, Firewalls, J2EE, and Web and Application Servers).
• Thorough understanding of Java/J2EE concepts (JDBC, JMS/MQ,
JSP, EJB, JNDI, etc.) is required.
• Understanding of security concepts in WAS environment.
• Ability to follow, improve and create processes required for
effective systems administration.
*Preferred skills:*
• WebSphere eXtreme Scale
• WebSphere Liberty
• Installing and supporting WebSphere Portal and DataPower is
desirable
