*Location: San Diego, CA, 92121*
*Duration: 3+ Months contract*
*Must Have: *
· *VMWARE*
· *EMC storage arrays*
· *VMAX*
· *VNX*
· *Xtremio*
· *SAN fabrics with Brocade switching*
· *vSphere*
Description:
- In depth knowledge and experience with EMC storage arrays,
including *VMAX,
VNX and Xtremio* series arrays.
- Experience designing and supporting SAN fabrics with *Brocade*
switching
- Experience with systems storage, backup, and recovery environments and
equipment (e.g. virtual and physical tape drives/libraries*, Data Domain*
Enterprise platform, storage devices (RAID arrays), storage area
networks/fiber cabling, SAN switches/zoning, HBAs (SCSI and Fiber), NICs,
network (Ethernet)
- Knowledgeable in various backup and recovery methods, including
full/differential/incremental, block-level, file-level, bare metal
recovery, etc
- Familiarity with virtual tape libraries, VMWare vSphere backup
solutions – including vDAP
- Experience with backup/recovery utilities (e.g. *Networker*,
Netbackup, Veeam)
