The client would be looking for a phone + f2f interview. They will accept Skype interviews but all local in person interviews will be given priority. The job is looking for a DBA that can also do some SQL Development. . If you have someone higher and they are local, we can consider them. *Development DBA* * * As part of our Teradata DBA team, candidate will contribute in the SQL development of complex database views; someone that moved from Developer into DBA role would have the ideal background Must also be capable of performing database change management, performance tuning, and most of the other roles of the DBA. Preferred candidate will have both Development and Operational DBA experience. *Required experience: * · Expert at writing and debugging complex SQL and understands the best ways to incorporate database requests into application programs (most times via database views). · 3 to 5 Years focused experienced as a DBA · Data Warehouse experience is required. Heath care experience would be a plus. · Dimensional/Star Schema design, implementation and optimization · Database Partitioning design, implementation and optimization · Understands ETL framework design, implementation and management · Teradata v13 DBA experience would be a major plus · Oracle or DB2 Development DBA with Unix/Linux experience would be an acceptable alternative.
