Job Title: Business System Analyst
Location: White Plains, NY

Client is looking for a senior business systems analyst with experience in using software development methodologies.
· Be involved in the business requirement gathering phase with an external vendor and create functional documents for a new credit risk system
· Document functional requirements for calculations and cVaR modeling
· Work with architect and developers to ensure that the functional documents are translated into technical documents
· Commodity Trading background is important
· Participate in QA testing and in User Acceptance testing
· Work with the business on new regional and global requirements to be developed internally after go-live
· Experience in the use of SQL scripts and in data mining and ability to create ad hoc reporting for business users.
· Participate in Technical discussion and communicate business requirements to the development group.

MUST HAVE
· Experience in creating requirements using Use Cases
Background in credit risk and commodity trading, particularly agricultural or energy commodities. Experience in credit risk VaR and required risk factors is desirable. Mark-to-market experience is a plus.
· Experience in SQL for Oracle, SQL server and other relational databases
· Microsoft Office and Projects literate, Visio, UML
