Also is responsible for maintenance and production support of one or more applications. *QUALIFICATIONS:* Education and experience (PL/SQL) " Bachelor's degree in computer science, or equivalent relevant experience. " Minimum of 7 years experience in software development. " Minimum 7 years of PL/SQL Development. " Experience writing Oracle packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and views. " Shell scripting and UNIX experience a plus. " Experience with Agile software development a plus. Knowledge, skills and abilities (PL/SQL) " Solid understanding of relational database design. " Solid analytical and organizational skills. " Good verbal and written communication skills. " Detail oriented. " Exercises sound judgment. " Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet established deadlines. " Ability to work well with others, as well as independently. " Ability to maintain confidentiality with regard to customer information and employee records.* * *ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS* " Develops code for new applications and/or enhancements to existing applications. " Generates efficient application code that is traceable to technical specifications. " Effectively unit tests code prior to handing it over for testing.
