SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Salesforce (SFDC) Solutions Specialist or SFDC Solutions Architect is responsible for the overall design and integration of the Salesforce application in the company environment and translating business requirements to systems/technical requirements. The Solutions Architect works is part of the CRM team in the Information and Technology Group (ITG). RESPONSIBILITIES: - Participate in design meetings and representing SFDC application in the overall - Assist in customization of SFDC screens and integration, workflow, and security. - Provide process flow analysis and process redesign as needed - Contribute to detailed functional design document to match requirements - Integrate SFDC with other applications in the environment including custom-built and 3rd party - Produce a technical specification for custom development and systems integration requirements - Configure SFDC - Provide current best practice and 3rd Party solution alternatives as part of the functional design document - Participate in training design, documentation and delivery efforts in concert with the team - Participate in internal projects as required PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in Salesforce and comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with rapidly expanding customer base. Candidate must be organized and analytical, adept at working in a team environment, able to design and implement a project schedule, and able to handle multiple priorities. Additional preferred qualifications are: B.S. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent preferred - Advanced experience with Salesforce.com configuration and custom development - Strong presentation and communication skills - Must demonstrate good judgment and pragmatic approach to delivering software that optimizes architecture activities across company needs, business constraints and technological realities - Good knowledge and understanding of Web Service API's for integration purposes - SFDC Certifications - Ability to understand the business requirements and converting them into solution designs - Nice to have: Experience with enterprise integration tools and extract, transformation and load (ETL) tools - Should have hands-on experience in some of the following technologies: Force.com, APEX, VisualForce, SOAP, RESTful, .NET and related technologies (JSON, XML, etc), - Must maintain professional knowledge and relationships with the SFDC ecosystem - 7-10 years of relevant experience in professional services or technology group - 4-5 years of Salesforce.com systems integration and/or implementation experience Proven Solutions consulting experience in large enterprises -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "International SAP Projects" group.
