As a Senior Salesforce.com Developer you will be charged with state of the art analysis, development, testing and documentation for projects. Additionally, this Senior Salesforce.com Developer position will also engage in support and enhancement requests. Responsibilities Participate in the analysis and review of business requirements and the design of solutions. Apply best practices and experience to Salesforce solutions. Develop work estimates for projects. Perform support and development activities for applications/projects assigned to the team. Document application specifications and solutions to satisfy project requirements. Identify and evaluate vendor/partner software and integration strategies. Develop and code solutions to specification. Identify and implement appropriate testing strategy. Execute all steps required to deploy/implement the application solution. Participate in a self-directed team environment. Collaborate with project team members and QA on development, customer issues, and security requirements. Off-hours work will be required as business demands dictate. Carry and/or respond to cell phone calls for off-hours to fix application problems. Some travel may be required. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in CS, MIS, and technical area generally required. Will accept any equivalent combination of education and experience. 10+ years professional experience in IT solutions development in a medium to large corporate environments. 5+years Salesforce.com experience, in Visual Force/APEX development, integration and configuration REQUIRED. Experience with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud platform (including CTI) REQUIRED. Experience with Salesforce.com Web Services APIs - Force.com SOAP and REST-based Web Service APIs, the Bulk API, and the Metadata API REQUIRED. Ability to lead the review and analysis of business requirements and the design of solutions for new applications or enhancements to existing applications in Salesforce.com platform. Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills in customer settings and with internal management. Strong active listening, facilitation and presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to provide leadership within the team and mentor and guide others to increase overall team capabilities. Demonstrated ability to communicate business needs to technical people and to communicate and simplify complex technical information for non-technical people. Demonstrated broad analytical capabilities including highly complex technical problem solving. Ability to exercise good judgment, decision making and creativity. Ability to readily grasp complex architectural environments. Ability to work from general direction in the development of detailed solutions. Must enjoy assisting others in supporting project needs.
