I have the following requirement currently open. Candidate must be driving distance to Houston and able to attend F2F interview.* * * looking *for .NET Architect* with *WEB API and Nhibernate expertise.* We need very solid *WEB API & Nhibernate expert *– Acts as expert in coding, functional and also solution advisory. *Houston Local candidates only* ( Driving distance )– require F2F Interview. 6 months – extendable. Do you know anyone that can handle a project of this caliber? I need someone right away. So we are looking for a very senior level architect/programmer The duration is 3+ months. The reason for this position is this problem: We have an application that is 90% complete and is being rolled out globally. We’re expecting the user community for the current project to be in the thousands and heavy transaction volume. The system is pretty complex and touches many different technologies such as MVC, Attribute routing, Agatha Services, Castle Winsdor, Fluent NHibernate, AutoMapper, NServiceBus etc…. We also have notifications sent out to iPhones and Androids using Pushsharp and iCloud. Currently we only have around 300 users and no problems and they do not concurrently use the system. We’ve done stress and load testing to simulate the future usage and the problem we’re experiencing is when we have many concurrent users, the time it takes for calls on the Web API to serve are taking too long. For example, a call that would normally take 1 second for 1 user is taking 15 – 20 seconds with 300 concurrent users. We already have ideas on where the bottlenecks maybe and a couple of our own solutions to the problems but would like to have an expert with a lot of experience working with *Web API and Nhibernate* come in and take a look and give us recommendations and solutions and help us implement them. Once the problem has been resolved, the architect can help us review our system and provide ways to help with scalability and technology.
