*Job Description:*
UX Designer to support an IT organization responsible for implementing a
transformational program in the network engineering space to build an
engineering systems platform with a single user experience. He/She will
work closely with the IT and Network Engineering teams to translate
requirements and collaboratively define an exceptional experience. The
right candidate will join our team creating intuitive and engaging business
workflow experiences across platforms (Android & Windows).
*Skill set:*
• 10+ years’ experience in UX design.
• Listen to and understand business requirements to build a user experience
in wireframes with Visio, Balsamiq (or Axure).
• Create user interface designs for an Android tablet.
• Create web designs within the corporate standards applying fundamentals
of web design layout in Photoshop or Illustrator.
• Knowledge of screen type limitations and an eye for maintaining the
balance between form and function.
• Ability to create icon sets and menu button styles.
• Create screens utilizing CSS3 & HTML5 a plus.
• Ability to create graphs, tables & charts in MS that convey a message for
presentations a plus.
• Create strong info-graphics.
• Understanding of the Agile software development life cycle and working
within it.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to develop effective presentations/prototypes applicable to
various audiences.
• Ability to organize requests and balance priorities from several
development teams with different delivery schedules.
• Detail oriented, resourceful, motivated and creative; with a positive
attitude.
*Responsibilities:*
Assess requirements to develop effective UX.
Collaborate to create wireframes within the corporate standards.
Collaborate with IT management to develop UI material for proposals.
Attend daily stand-up meetings with multiple teams across various time
zones.
Review peer designs within the UI team to provide constructive criticism
and receive the same.
