The BBC Radio 4 program “The World at One” today had a brief (too brief, in my
opinion) piece on the ability of radio — the “wireless” — to penetrate
sequestered locations with information where all else, including social media
and the Internet fails. Maybe the tiniest bit of intelligence in this regard is
just starting to be realized again in the wider world of communications.
