Technically, I guess you could convert the mp3 to a movie track .
Instead of the video track being a movie in can be a single sprite
track that keeps the image (to keep the file size down instead of a
video track). Seems like a lot of work, but it should be possible.

No way as of yet, AFAIK. Safari doesn't have a plugin that play's the
music. It shoots the URL of the mp3 over to the quicktime player.
