I've been trying to get a positive ID on this one for
over a month, and although there have been several
instances where I've logged sweep tones on 1560, 'nary

Last night while driving home from work, I did quick checks of the various
"tone"
frequencies, 590khz-1020khz-1610khz. No tones heard, but 1610khz
produced a very strong Spanish station that I've never heard here before.
