I did an update to both on-line database versions (MW+SW) over the holidays.
The pdfs you mentioned are the most recent ones, although there will be an
updated SW pdf in a few days (assuming I get off the dime). I generally do an
on-line update every month or two, and a full pdf update
I like to DX mobile, and at my Burnt River ON site
there's a hill nearby which does well on FM and TV to
the east. But it's not accessible by car. Great
blockage to all other directions! I usually drive,
park nearby, and walk in - it's a few hundred feet in
from the road. But I have biked there on
Slightly AU early on tonite and lots of Mexicans on the low end of the band
here in Barrington IL with two news ones logged.
I spent more time on 740 with CHWO phased out and managed to pin down my
strong unID from last AU as XEGF. They play a mix of newer SS AC and some

The signal was fair at times (fair relative to DXing, hi). I already
deleted my own posts but I was hearing it around 0100+ local time?? One
quick thought was KZOO Hawaii,(listed as foreign) but they run only 1kw plus
the heading didn't fit. The signal seemed a little to decent for

Best reception seems to be NW/SE on loop, but perhaps only because I'm nulling
a stronger SS station due north. What I'm hearing is something I would expect
from 1200 KYAA Soquel, ie. Hindi-Punjab. Any ideas?
