Nick & Dennis,
This morning, it sounded like a lot of the DX was a coastal thing. Too
bad no one was at Grayland to compare notes with. I believe a group will
be going out next weekend to correspond with John's trip to Easter
Island. Hopefully the A&K will be lower by then.

Thanks Dennis. It was a good morning. I was very surprised how good it
was. It seemed more like Sept/Oct rather than March. I don't expect
tomorrow to be a good with the elevated numbers though.

Nick,
Unfortunately, I did not check for the s/off, but I was still getting
audio after 1700 on some channels. I've got to raise that WNW EWE. hi.

You-Do-It Electronics, Needham, yes is the closest place to here where you
can get decent stuff, love to drive out there just to see channel 5's

Agree 100% with Dennis' comments, Patrick.
Some things I just don't hear in Victoria however. Although 612 is
often in, there's rarely more than a weak het on 1116.
best wishes,

There are few things more fun that "listening" to the

one of them is being ON the radio.

be working on some more stuff that hopefully
ends up on the radio.

Pat,
Thanks for posting your TP band scan this morning. Very interesting, I copied
your list and have it hanging above my radio. Always enjoy reading Bill's and
Nick's TP postings. It will be interesting to see what pops up this coming
morning with the A index 20. Good luck!

I guess I'd qualify that with "strong carriers without audio", Bill,
as we often hear weaker carriers without audio.

Did they hang it until their s/off at 1640UT, Patrick? Although I'd
gone to work, the propagation monitor kept running on 594, but no
sign of any strength after sunrise here.

If you haven't read the FAQ or documentation on GAIM, you ought to head to
http://gaim.sourceforge.net/faq.php and take a look at it.
You'll need to add MIRC to the Account Editor. From that point on, it should
be like using a stand-alone MIRC client.

Les,
I am not familiar with the GAIM client. I use mIRC. At some place
in the client you have to connect with the room. In chat room
parlance that is called "joining." At some point you will have to
enter the name of the chat room. In this case it is #mwdx.

Up to this point, I've only connected at www.starchat.
It is now nearly 1615 UTC and JOUB 774 is still S7. I have heard JJ on
