If you haven't read the FAQ or documentation on GAIM, you ought to head to http://gaim.sourceforge.net/faq.php and take a look at it. You'll need to add MIRC to the Account Editor. From that point on, it should be like using a stand-alone MIRC client. This is theory (I've not used it for MIRC)
